Consulting Night

Every year, we provide the opportunity for students across multiple faculties to network with representatives from 6-8 consulting firms. We partner with top firms in the consulting industry for the biggest networking event of the year! Students have the opportunity to hear keynotes, ask thoughtful questions to a panel of experts and finish the evening with networking. Topics presented over the course of the evening in the past have included technology in consulting, working at a boutique firm, and the power of parity.

In the past we have had over 100 students in attendance at the BMO Forum! Our 2021 Consulting Night was sponsored by BCG, McKinsey & Company, IBM, Accenture, EY, and Mercer.

Case Interview Workshops

UCCA partners with consulting firms to host multiple case interview workshops. On average, we have seen around 30-40 students in attendance per workshop. Cases are an essential part of the consulting interview process, and these events provide value to students who want to gain more exposure to them and hone their skills. These workshops provide students with the opportunity to work in small groups to solve business cases that were created by consultants. Students are able to receive feedback from firm representatives and participate in a group case interview. Afterwards, students have the opportunity to network with firms. Through participation in the workshops, UCCA members have had the option of having their resume included in a resume book provided to the firms. We are grateful for the firm representatives who continue to offer their help and expertise to our members, and to the clubs who partner with us.

UCCA Kick-offs

Our semi-annual kick-offs provide students the opportunity to learn more about UCCA! Our Fall and Winter kick-offs occur during the SU Clubs Week at the beginning of each semester. Throughout the year, we provide students with pro bono internships, consulting projects, case competitions, networking events and more. Our kick-off events are a great way to learn about us and ask lots of questions. We often invite UCCA alumni or students who have completed internships or projects with us in the past to speak about their experience. In the past we have had over 100 students in attendance!
